Vietnam: Massive E-commerce Warehouses are springing up near Vietnam-China border

In Vietnam, in 2015, the Ministry of Industry and Trade also issued a decision approving the Planning to develop goods warehouses at border gates in the Vietnam – China border area until 2025, with a vision to 2035. Accordingly,, Vietnam will plan to develop 53 warehouses in 6 provinces with an area of over 1.2 million sqm. Of which, Quang Ninh has 5 warehouses, Lang Son 17 warehouses, Cao Bang 11 warehouses, Ha Giang 6 warehouses, Lao Cai 11 warehouses and Lai Chau 3 warehouses. However, in reality, the warehouse system in Vietnam’s border gate areas is not really well developed such as Hoanh Mo, Bac Phong Sinh, Bac Luan II, Tan Thanh does not meet the requirements.

Quang Nam: There will soon be an Eco- Industrial Park of more than 435 hectares

Khanh Hoa: Approved the investment policy to build Doc Da Trang Industrial Park

On March 18, Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai just signed Decision No. 234/QD-TTg approving the investment policy of the project to build and operate infrastructure of Doc Da Trang IP with an area of 288 ha. The project is implemented in Van Hung commune, Van Ninh district and Ninh Tho commune, Ninh Hoa town with a total investment of 1,807.474 billion VND by Viglacera Yen My Industrial Park Development JSC. Investors. The project’s operating term is 50 years from the date the project’s investment policy is approved and the investor is approved.

Thai Nguyen: Kinh Bac plans to invest nearly 9,000 billion VND in Industrial Parks

Kinh Bac Urban Development Corporation on March 18 issued a resolution approving the investment decision and implementation of Phu Binh Industrial Park, Phu Binh district, Thai Nguyen. Hai Duong: GP INVEST invests 1,000 billion to build an Industrial Cluster

Hai Duong province has just decided to establish Thai Tan Industrial Cluster in Thai Tan, Nam Hong, Hong Phong communes (Nam Sach district, Hai Duong) with an area of about 75 hectares. Lao Cai: Adding a 1,000ha Industrial Park to the planning of Lao Cai Border Gate EZ

Lao Cai Provincial People’s Committee organizes planning to adjust the general planning for construction of Lao Cai Border Gate Economic Zone until 2045 in the direction of adding Coc My-Trinh Tuong Industrial Park with an area of 1,000 ha to the general construction planning of Lao Cai border gate economic zone. The border gate economic zone currently has 21 functional areas that have had detailed planning approved with a total area of 2,132 ha; of which Kim Thanh-Ban Vuoc area belongs to the development focus area of the Border Gate Economic Zone, the total area within the Border Gate Economic Zone is 2,500 ha.

Binh Duong: Expects to attract about 130- 140 projects to Industrial Parks

According to the 2024 plan, the Industrial Zones Management Board of Binh Duong province aims to attract about 130 – 140 investment projects into industrial zones, with a total foreign investment capital of about 1.2

Lang Son: In April 2024, construction of the 600ha VSIP Industrial Park will begin

Chairman of Lang Son Provincial People’s Committee requested the investor of the VSIP Lang Son Industrial Park project to urgently complete legal procedures and start the project in April 2024. The project has a scale of 599.76 ha, located in 2 communes Ho Son and Ho Thang in Huu Lung District. It is invested by VSIP. The project is divided into three phases. Phase 1 has a scale of about 200 ha, phase 2 is about 250 ha and the remaining area belongs to phase 3 of the project. Total investment capital of the entire project is expected to be about 274.6 million USD.

Long An: Dh Foods inaugurated a new factory

Dh Foods has just officially inaugurated the Long An branch production factory which focuses on producing sauce lines, such as dipping sauces, complete seasoning sauces of all kinds… and potential new products. The new factory will help Dh Foods continue to better supply products currently available at Carrefour and E. Lerclec systems in France; Gyomu Supermarket, Donkihote in Japan. In addition, Dh Foods will cooperate with new partners currently supplying supermarket systems such as Aldi, Lild (Germany); Aeon, Beisia, Costco, OK Corporation, Sandi, Halows chains in Japan.

Dong Nai: Hisense invests in a TV manufacturing factory

At a recent working session with the People’s Committee of Dong Nai province, a representative of Hisense Visual Technology Company (China) said that the company currently expects to enter into a joint venture with Giang Nam Logistics JSC. The enterprise will invest in a television production project at Long Thanh Industrial Park. The Provincial People’s Committee leaders suggest that businesses contact directly through the focal point, the Industrial Zones Management Board, for specific instructions.

Bac Ninh: Chinese Enterprises do projects worth more than 800 million USD

On March 19, Victory Giant Technology Group and VSIP Bac Ninh Industrial Park Infrastructure Company signed a land lease agreement to implement a circuit board production and sales project.

According to the plan, Victory Giant Technology Group will invest in a factory worth 800 million USD in VSIP Bac Ninh 2 Industrial Park with an area of 10 hectares to research, develop, produce and trade high-precision circuit boards. This project will be implemented immediately after land handover in mid-2025.

Nam Dinh: Welcoming 30 million USD electronic FDI project

On March 20, Nam Dinh Provincial People’s Committee held a signing ceremony of a MoU to develop a project to produce multi-function projectors and laser televisions between the Management Board of Nam Dinh Industrial Parks and XGIMI Technology Company Limited(Hong Kong, China). XGIMI will research and implement investment in a project to produce multi-function smart projectors and laser TVs in My Thuan Industrial Park and is expected to build phase 1 of the project with a total investment of about 30 million USD, bringing the factory into operation in 2024.

Thanh Hoa: Inauguration of 62 million USD Factory

On March 20, at Bim Son Industrial Park, Bim Son town, Thanh Hoa, SAB Vietnam Industrial Company Limited under Weixing Group held the inauguration ceremony of SAB Vietnam Industrial Factory. The project was started in July 2022, has an area of more than 66 ha, and a total investment capital of about 62 million USD. The factory specializes in manufacturing clothing accessories such as metal zippers, plastic zippers, nylon zippers, plastic buttons, metal buttons… Once operational, the factory will create jobs for more than 1,000 technically skilled workers.

Vietnam: Lam Research Semiconductor Group expects to develop a billion-dollar factory

On March 20, Lam Research representative said that the company intends to expand operations and diversify the supply chain in Asia. Particularly in Vietnam, Lam Research plans to cooperate with Seojin Company (currently with factories located in Bac Ninh and Bac Giang) to develop a factory and supply chain in phase 1 with a capital of 1-2 billion USD.

After phase 1, Lam Research can invest directly and continue to expand operations in Vietnam. Lam Research is one of the world’s leading chip manufacturing tool suppliers, established in 1980, headquartered in California, USA.

Vinh Long: Awarded 13 investment policy decisions and investment memoranda

On March 23, the People’s Committee of Vinh Long province awarded the investment policy decision, investment registration certificate to representatives of investors with 13 projects with a total of Investment capital is more than 19,600 billion VND.
