Vietnam: Large businesses race to build Data Centers

The explosion of artificial intelligence, online television services and online games has increased the demand for data center providers in Vietnam. In 2022, Vietnam enacted a data law requiring companies such as Alibaba, Microsoft, Google and Amazon to store user data in the country.

The Deputy Prime Minister has just signed Decision No. 525/QD-TTg adjusting the investment policy of the project to build and exploit the infrastructure of No. 3 IP – Nghi Son EZ, Thanh Hoa province. Accordingly, the previous investor of the project was the Central Construction Group JSC, now it has been adjusted to become the investor of Nghi Son IP No. 3 Infrastructure Investment and Exploitation Company Limited. The investor ensures to complete investment in construction of the project’s technical infrastructure within the investment project implementation schedule in the Q4/2025.
