Vietnam: Industrial Real estate continues to have positive developments

According to FERI’s report, in the first 6 months of 2024, the industrial real estate market has stable supply, steadily increasing demand and rental prices continue to go up. Specifically, the total supply of industrial real estate in the North and the South remained stable compared to the previous quarter, reaching about 14,500 ha and 27,700 ha, respectively. Occupancy rate in the North reached 83%, up 3% points year-on-year, while occupancy rate in the South reached 92%, up 1% point.

After receiving the investment license for the 730 million USD biological factory project in Phu My 2 Industrial Park (Ba Ria – Vung Tau), Hyosung Group continues to look for investment opportunities in the information technology. One of the projects that the Group is targeting is the Data Center Project in HCM High-Tech Park. The project has an expected scale of 1,500 – 4,000 racks meeting Tier-3 international standards with an area of 3 ha.

Vietnam: Japanese flour giant plans to build factory in Vietnam

According to Nikkei Asia, Japan’s leading flour producer Nippn has just announced plans to build a new factory in Vietnam to supply dry ingredients to domestic food manufacturers. The factory is expected to be located near Ho Chi Minh City and will specialize in producing premixed flour for frying and baking. When completed in 2027, the factory is expected to have a capacity of about 4,300 tons per year.

Vietnam: Chinese tire group plans to increase investment capital to 1.7 billion USD

Sailun Group has invested in building a factory to produce all tire lines in Tay Ninh province, established a research and development center in HCM and established a joint venture with Cooper Tires in 2019, with a total investment capital of about 1.5 billion USD to date. Ho Chi Minh: Bamboo Capital starts construction on a waste in cineration plant

On July 20, Bamboo Capital Group held a groundbreaking ceremony to build the Tam Sinh Nghia waste incineration power plant in Thai My commune, Cu Chi district, HCM. With the capacity of phase 1 to burn 2,000-2,600 tons of waste/day, the project will help Ho Chi Minh City significantly reduce the pressure on waste treatment, about 20-25% of the total volume of waste generated each day will be processed.

Ho Chi Minh: Prioritizing investment and development of 93 traffic works

The project is planned into two subdivisions, the maximum combined construction density of the entire area is 46.36%, the maximum construction height is 2 – 5 floors, the maximum land use coefficient is 2.25 times.

Bac Giang: Investment in construction and infrastructure of Yen Lu Industrial Park

Deputy Prime Minister signed Decision No. 636/QD-TTg dated July 12, 2024 approving the investment policy of the Yen Lu industrial park infrastructure construction and business investment project (extension) phase 1. Western Pacific Investment Joint Stock Company is the project investor. The project is implemented in Yen Lu commune, Yen Dung district, Bac Giang province with a scale of 119.83 ha with project investment capital is 1,543,023 billion VND.

Bac Giang: Chinese energy giant invests another 300 million USD

Sunwoda Group (China) recently decided to choose Bac Giang to expand its investment scale. It is expected that Sunwoda will invest in a 300 million USD project in Yen Lu Industrial Park, attracting about 5,000 local workers, with a revenue of about 1 billion USD/year. Based on the development of manufacturing enterprises in Vietnam, the Group will have investment directions in the next stages. Sunwoda Group has been involved in the energy sector for nearly 30 years.

Ha Nam: Investing more than 2,900billion VND to Dong Van V Industrial Park

The Deputy Prime Minister has just signed Decision No. 635/QD-TTg dated July 12, 2024 approving the policy of investment in construction and infrastructure business of Dong Van V Industrial Park phase 1. Investor of the project is Ha Nam Infrastructure Joint Stock Company. The project’s land use scale is 237.29 hectares; was carried out in Tien Noi ward, Tien Ngoai and Yen Nam communes, Duy Tien town, Ha Nam. The total investment capital is 2,911.295 billion VND.

Ha Nam: Commencement of Chia Chang Vietnam Technology Factory-phase 1

On July 13, at Thai Ha Industrial Park (phase 1), Hai Long Construction JSC and Chia Chang Vietnam Technology Com. Ltm held a groundbreaking ceremony for Chia Chang Vietnam Technology Factory Project (state 1). It is invested on a land area of more than 25,000 sqm. Total project investment capital is 9 million USD with the following items: factory 1 includes 2 floors with an area of 2,880 sqm/floor; Factory 2 consists of 2 floors with an area of 4,150 sqm/floor.

Ha Tinh: Approved the policy of investing of Vinhomes Vung Ang Industrial Park

Deputy Prime Minister signed Decision No. 639/QD-TTg dated July 13, 2024 approving the investment policy of the project to invest in construction and business of infrastructure of Vinhomes Vung Ang industrial park. Vinhomes Industrial Park Investment Joint Stock Company is the project investor. The project is implemented in the central industrial park, lots CN4, CN5, Vung Ang economic zone, Ky Anh town, Ha Tinh province with a total investment of 13,276.491 billion VND.

Phu Yen: Approval of Hoa Tam Industrial Park

The People’s Committee of Phu Yen province has just approved the 1/2,000 scale of Hoa Tam Industrial Park in the South Phu Yen Economic Zone. Accordingly, it is located in Hoa Tam commune, Dong Hoa town, with an area of about 1,115 ha. Lao Cai: Approve a list of 6 projects to attract investment in Industrial Zones, Clusters

The Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People’s Committee has just issued a decision approving a list of 6 projects to attract investment in industrial parks and industrial clusters in the province in 2024. These include: List of industrial park projects (1

In Official Dispatch No. 536/TTg-NN, Deputy Prime Minister approved the People’s Committee of Long An province to decide to change the use purpose of 219.44 hectares of rice land to another purpose to implement the Dong Nam A Industrial Park Project (phase 2). The project is located in Phuoc Vinh Dong and Tan Tap communes, Can Giuoc district, invested by Long An Industrial Park Joint Stock Company.

Da Nang: Implementing investment procedures for 3 new Industrial Parks

According to the Management Board of Da Nang High-Tech Park and Industrial Parks (IP), the unit is implementing procedures and planning documents, investing in 3 new IPs: Hoa Cam IP Phase 2, Hoa Ninh IP and Hoa Nhon IP. Currently, Da Nang has 8 IPs. To date, the parks have attracted a total of 523 investment projects; including 399 domestic projects (34,450 billion VND) and 124 FDI projects (2,070 million USD).

Nam Dinh: Inauguration of fabric factory

On July 13, TOP TEXTILES Co., Ltd. held the inauguration ceremony of TOP TEXTILES factory at Rang Dong Textile Industrial Park. Nam Dinh: Hong Kong Enterprise plans to build a Phone Components Factory

Chung Nam Group, Hong Kong (China) has expressed its plan to invest in a factory to produce: camera clusters, front and rear lenses of phones, with an estimated total investment capital of about 50 million USD in phase 1. In Vietnam, Chung Nam Group has established Vitalink Vietnam Co., Ltd. with 2 branches in Bac Giang province. Currently, the Group is a partner of many major electronic technology brands: Samsung, Apple, Huawei, CRE, BOEV.

Nam Dinh: Kam Kiu Aluminum Group invests 100 million USD to build a factory

Kam Kiu Aluminum Group, Hong Kong (China) currently needs to use 12-20 ha of land to invest in a factory producing aluminum accessories for electronic devices, smart devices (phones, computer screens, speakers, watches) and auto parts with a total expected investment of 100 million USD. The Group will invest in My Thuan Industrial Park; and hopes to complete the factory investment and put it into operation and production by May 2025.

Hung Yen: Acecook built an instant noodle factory worth VND 2,200 billion

General Director of Acecook Vietnam said that in the near future this company will build an Acecook instant noodle factory in Hung Yen with a total investment of 2,200 billion VND. The factory will employ 2,000 workers. Previously, in March 2024, Acecook started construction on the 12th factory in Vinh Long province with an expected number of workers of 3,000 people. The factory is built on the campus of Hoa Phu Industrial Park on an area of 11 ha.

Hung Yen: Wieson started construction of a factory in Industrial Park No.5

Recently, Wieson Technologies Vietnam Factory officially started construction in Industrial Park No. 5, Hung Yen province. The project is built on an area of 18,176 sqm, with a total investment of 16.5 million USD. Wieson specializes in manufacturing electronic components such as cables and connectors. It is expected that from March 2025 to May 2025, machinery and equipment will be installed; By June 2025, it will go into official operation.

Hung Yen: Inaugurated a Road connecting 2 High ways of the North

On July 7, the road connecting the Hanoi -Hai Phong expressway with the Cau Gie Ninh Binh expressway section through Hung Yen province (phase 2) was inaugurated. The project is nearly 24 km long, the route helps shorten travel time between Phap Van-Cau Gie expressway and Hanoi-Hai Phong expressway by up to 30 minutes. According to the plan, The road will be upgraded to a highway after 2030.

Thai Binh: Capital Holding invests nearly 1,300 billion in hemp fiber factory

Capital Holding Joint Stock Company proposes to invest in a hemp fiber factory with 30,000 spindles in Quy Ninh Industrial Cluster. According to the proposal, the Thai Binh hemp fiber factory project is expected to be deployed on an area of more than 78,000 sqm, with a total cost of Investing over 51 million USD. Project capacity is 5,400 tons of fiber/year. When the project comes into operation, it will create jobs for about 800 workers, with an average annual revenue of over 1,000 billion VND.

Quang Ninh: Foxconn plans to produce Nintendo Switch

Recently, Quang Ninh People’s Committee has granted an Investment Registration Certificate to Foxconn Group to implement 2 projects with a total capital of 551 million USD. Of which, the Smart Entertainment Products project invested in Song Khoai Industrial Park has an area of 21.5 ha, a total capital of 263.7 million USD. The project is expected to be tested from October to December 2026 and officially put into operation from January 2027.

Quang Tri: Started construction of an airport worth more than 5,800 billion VND

On July 6, the People’s Committee of Quang Tri province and the joint venture investor T&T – CIENCO 4 held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Quang Tri Airport construction investment project with a total investment capital of more than 5,800 billion VND. The project is implemented in Gio Quang, Gio Hai and Gio Mai communes, Gio Linh district with a scale of more than 265 ha. The project will be put into operation in July 2026.

Lao Cai: Implementing 5 projects, total capital of more than 20,000 billion

The Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People’s Committee has just issued Decision No. 1671/QD-UBND dated July 5, 2024 approving a list of 5 projects to attract investment in the field of transportation in the province in 2024. According to the Decision , a list of 5 projects including: Sa Pa Airport Construction Project; Road project connecting Sa Pa airport to Sa Pa town; Dong Pho Moi Dry Port Project; Kim Thanh – Ban Vuoc Dry Port Project; Sa Pa Airport Dry Port Project.

Hai Phong: Open to traffic Ben Rung bridge connecting Hai Phong- Quang Ninh

On July 17, Hai Phong City People’s Committee held the opening ceremony of Ben Rung bridge connecting Thuy Nguyen district (Hai Phong city) with Quang Yen town (Quang Ninh province) across Da Bach river. It is invested by the Management Board of Hai Phong Transport Construction Investment Project, with a total investment of 1,940,931 billion VND. This bridge with a length of 1,865 meters and a width of 21.5 meters.

Quang Binh: Dong Hoi Airport is expected to start construction in the Q3/2024

Vietnam Airports Corporation has just issued document No. 2801/TTr-TCTCHKVN sent to the Ministry of Transport on the appraisal of the feasibility study report for investment in the construction of component 1 project “Construction of terminal T2, Dong Hoi Airport”. The Project construction site at Dong Hoi Airport, Loc Ninh Commune, Dong Hoi city, Quang Binh. The total floor area of the terminal is 17,567 sqm.
